Emma is a well-trained cat slave with a ridiculous amount of hobbies. As well as archery, painting, and sculpting with clay or withies, she is an avid wildlife photographer. Her biggest passion is writing, which she has done for as long as she can remember.

Growing up with twenty cousins, she often found herself creating games and stories to keep everyone entertained. Along with her brother she also wrote and performed radio plays, and several 'choose your own adventure' books.

Her first love when it came to reading were books involving animals, but she found herself deeply drawn to myths and legends from around the world. When she read The Lord of the Rings at the age of ten, she knew she was going to be a fantasy author.

Emma's favourite place to write is in her small wildlife garden, surrounded by birds, badgers, foxes, and even grass snakes! And she is of course assisted in her work by her furry helpers, Wolfe and Piglitt.
